ACLS

AIEME has long been known for our
"low stress" but "high standards"
approach to courses.

Faculty focus on helping participants internalize rather than memorize the critical components of these crucial courses.

Initial Course

This 12 hour course is designed for those attending ACLS their first time or those who are renewing but do not practice in critical care or emergency related areas.

As scheduling for a two day course can be difficult, we are now conducting the course in an elongated one-day schedule.

Participants are encouraged to also register for an online or onsite ACLS prep course

Renewal Course

There are now three options for renewals:

8 hour - Traditional onsite course with mornings dedicated to video and group lectures. Afternoon sessions include additional video instruction followed by hands-on skills and practice sessions. Megacode and written exams at the conclusion of the day.

4 hour – Same as 8 hour option but skills, megacode and written exam immediately after lunch.

Skills/Testing Challenge – Participants simply attend the skills, megacode and written exam stations. Per the AHA, no remediation may be offered and failure to meet “passing” criteria requires retake of a 12 hour course. Participants are strongly encouraged to register for our online ACLS prep course or simply elect the 4 hour option.

Instructor Course

The ACLS Instructor course prepares those interested in serving as faculty during ACLS courses.

Candidates must present a letter of request from the AHA training facility for whom they will be teaching as well as a current ACLS provider.

If interested, please register now and an AIEME representative will contact you to conclude the registration.
